WELCOME TO THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY WAR MUSEUM - DAL ESTES EDUCATION CENTER IN PONTIAC ILLINOIS!
COME VISIT OUR DISPLAYS FROM WORLD WAR I TO THE PRESENT. WE ARE STAFFED BY VETERANS AND LOCATED NEXT TO THE ROUTE 66 MUSEUM IN BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN PONTIAC.
I just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful musuem! Your father would be so proud! We came from Bloomington to visit several weeks ago to see the travelling portraits....what an honor getting to meet you and see all the things you have collected. I thank you for your service to our country, and for your service in the museum to help my generation and the ones following to always remember those who have given so much!
This is wandering Bob Harbin. I've got the gold bars for Dal's uniform. I'm coming home on the 6th. See you the 7th, unless I change my mind and stay in Hawaii!
Thank you, Tracy. It is an honor to continue my father's dream of this museum. All credit must go to Jack Murphy- our President for the excellence of his exhibits, Neil Bach our financial advisor for his faithful service, early supporters Marie Mertes of Ransom IL and Betty Estes of Pontiac, the City of Pontiac for their financial support, and the 25 board members who contribute their time greeting our guests and supplying ideas to enhance the museum. Your words are deeply appreciated! David Estes, Education Director
