"Portrait of a Soldier" Exhibit Opens at Museums

The "Portrait of a Soldier" exhibit is open First Night and the first week of January on the upper floor of the Livingston County War Museum. This moving exhibit includes almost 200 hand-drawn portraits of Illinois servicemen and women killed since Sept. 11, 2001.

The exhibit will be on display 10 am to 11 pm Wednesday for Pontiac First Night; 10 am to 5 pm Friday: 10 am to 3 pm Saturday; 10 am to 4 pm Sunday and 11 am to 3 pm Monday. It will be closed on New Year's Day.
